TOPIC: Captcha?

Captcha? 27 Feb 2010 01:39 #1929

Hey guys, sorry if it's somewhere obvious, but I really couldn't find anything on it. x)
I am wondering if someone could explain to me where to get the 'captcha' extensions that BibleStudy seems to expect.

I have had ReCaptcha installed for K2 component (which was so novice looking that I disabled it), and some JXI Captcha for general joomla use, but neither of them seemed to be what BibleStudy was looking for.

Can someone explain to me, or point me in the direction of, what I am supposed to do to get this to work?
That would be great!
Cheers.

Hey Jonathan,

You want OSTWigits captcha:

extensions.joomla.org/extensions/access-a-security/captcha/2691

You set whether or not to use it in the Template Settings under Details View (you may run into trouble since your templates don't seem to save to the db).

If you want to do it manually in the params field through myPhpAdmin, after you install OSTWigits Captcha, set this parameter:

use_captcha=1
