Hello, and firstly thank you for making this extension!
I have two questions.
First one is probably pretty basic.
Each weekend we have 1 mp3 and 2 pdf files associated with each message.
How do I add multiple file types to a message? Video is also on the horizon. I'd imagine this would be done in a similar manner to managing speakers, topics, etc... but that does not seem to be the case.

My second question is a bit more advanced. We've been podcasting our mp3's through iTunes for quite some time. Is there a way to reliably migrate our current feed which validates perfectly and has over 300 subscribers, into being managed by your extension?

First Question:
You can add multiple media files (file types) from the "Media Files" section. You just associate multiple media files to a particular study, and all of the m should show up for that study.

Also see: joomlabiblestudy.org/component/content/a.../19-media-files.html

I'm not too familiar with podcasting, unfortunately, but perhaps Tom can help in that area.

You sure can use the component for reliable podcasting. I've been using it for years. Here's what I would suggest.

1. Backup your current .xml file
2. Create a podcast from the admin side
3. Associate some media files with that podcast
4. Write the XML file from the edit the podcast screen - make some other name if you want for testing purposes.
5. Use a feed validator to test the feed to seem if it is compliant.

Hopefully all will well for you.

Thanks for the multiple file thoughts.
Regarding the podcast though, it's important that the xml file migrates without loosing subscribers. We have hundreds of people who subscribe, so it's not just the matter of creating a new one, it needs to adopt the already existing subscribers who use iTunes.

That's what I'm saying - test it out using a different file name - then when you see it is validating, change the file name in the podcast record to the same one you are using now - your subscribers will look to that file for their subscription so you won't lose any of them.
