Is there a way to publish the recent sermons module into a section/category description or an article?

You sure can!

1. Create a copy of the Bible Studies Module in the Extensions | Module Manager drop down from your admin side.

2. Title it and set what parameters you want for that module - choose a not used position like User1 or something for its position.

3. Make sure the plugin Content - Load Module is enabled.

4. In your Section or Category you have an editor window that is used for the introduction. Put or whatever you put in there for the position.

Voila - it will show up in that Section or Category Description.
