All of my translations were made from the english language files, so even those that have not been translated are "translated" that is english should appear but in no way the texts with underscore. For example in the study details at the frontend the books are translated correctly, but at the backend only the choose a book is translated then the list of books is with JBS_BKK_xy, but I did double check that the language file in the admin directory has the translations for the books. What could be the problem?

7.0.1 works well in german language. Most of the time I had such effects, I missed a double quote in the language file or other type mismatch.
Where does this effect occur exactly? Does it happen during edit / new of a study and selecting the book or is it during another action?
Can you please either
- switch on the language debug (site->configuration->system tab->debug language set to on[/li]
- or give the language files (site and admin) to me, so I can have a try.[/li]

I see 7 books, that are not translated: Tobit to Baruch. These are apokryphas and they are currently missing in both your backend and frontend.
We discussed the use of apocryphas and decided to add them. I know, some communities does not like them, but we want to enable all our brothers and sisters to spread the word of the bible.

So the reason for why the translations for books don't come up at my side is because of the apocryphas are missing from my language files? I was thinking that it translates whatever I add there and leaves the ones without with registry names. I would like to have all the books of the Bible shown, but non of the apokryphas (not on the base of likes, with all due respect for our sisters and brothers by the same Word). I have deleted the apokryphas books lists too.
In the frontend there is no problem with the dropdown list displaying the name of the books. In the admin part only the "choose a book" message is translated and all bellow are left with registry names. In other parts, for example at the control panel tab's titles it seems like that some are being translated and some not, so I was thinking this should be happening in the book's list to. How is it?

there are two different lists, both occur in the backend as well as in the frontend:
One list of books, with a study existing for the book. Example: The filter list in the backend or in the frontend to filter the studies list. Or the landing page. Naturatelly, if you have no study on an apocrypha, these books do not appear on that selection lists.
The other list shows all books of the bible, including the apocryphas. This is needed for new / edit study. Here the apocryphas will occur, if you do not modify the database.

Nevertheless, it seems that there is another problem. Where exactly are missing translations? Which view? Which selection box or list? Are all of the books missing in this view or some books only? Is it the official 7.0.1 you use or a different version? As far as I remember, the 7.0.0 had some problems. Is it Joomla 1.6 or 1.7?
