SOLVED.

I translated some words to hungarian from the english language files (converting them to hu-HU and setting that as default in the admin panel), I made it sure to have char. encoding utf-8, also tried iso-8859-2 (that has hungarian characters) still for the drop-down filtering box the select xy doesn't even appear and for the books row it gives two blank spaces (from two books are studies created), locations, etc. are correctly displayed... bellow at the studies listing teachers' names are correctly displayed but book titles don't seem to get right the special characters.

If you have this problem make sure you didn't let your text editing program to change the ini file's encoding from utf-8.

Hello Zsigmond,

do you translate the BibleStudy version 7.0.1 to hungarian language or the older version 6.2.5? If it is the 7.0.1: Were you able to use the present hungarian language file? Unfortunatelly a lot of phrases are missing. But we would apprechiate, if you send us your translation, so we can provide the next versions with a better translation.

Thanks!
Anton

First I asked friends to translate the language files provided in this site with a dedicated page, that were not the 7.0.1 ones as later on it turned out, so in the end I just made some basic translations myself for the front-end of 7.0.1, cause I don't want to ask for anymore of their time. I see major structural and semantic changes and already said thanks for their work.

If you have a program with which you can make those files to comply with 7.0.1 then private message to me and I'll send it to you... if not, when I get finished (not soon and I will omit topical and many other translations as I cleared out the predefined topics) I'll send it in.

Welcomed.

Hello Zsigmond,
I created the hungarian files out of the older versions. As the structure of the component and the phrases as well changed that much, a lot of phrases are missing. That is: The phrases in the hungarian file (as in the other languages as well) only contain phrases where I found a translation in the older version. Missing phrases are not present in the file.
When I translated english to german, I found this helpful, because I used a translation component, which marks missing phrases. You easily get an overview on the progress. Please have a look to a translation manager, e.g. missing T. In my opinion, this is more convenient and offers better overview than translating with a text editor.
