I'm not sure what I'm missing. I have a study page that was created via page type as a menu link (ie: new menu item>>Bible Study Manager » Studieslist layout)
I need to control how many sermons show up on that page. Right now every sermon that has been added shows up...making the page load time long.

In the studies manager, I have ensured that the parameters for "number of studies to display" in the global configuration, was set to 10. I am not using any modules...only the studies list page, menu type.
Where else do I set the number of studies to display on the page?

Even though there is a parameter that appears to control the number of studies on the list page, that functionality does not actually work in version 6.0.xx. To set the number of items on a list page, go to the Global Settings. Under the "Site" tab you will see a field with a drop down "List Length" - that I think is where you set the limits, as Joomla's Pagination system gets its limits from that variable.

In versions 6.1 and above (not available as of July 16th) you will be able to set the list length in com_biblestudy parameters.
