TOPIC: Customizing AVR

Customizing AVR 19 Jun 2009 08:10 #941

Can anyone give some insight into how I can customize the AVR to add a banner below the MP3 player? Much like the one here

listeningtohope.com/

Hey mark.

when using the JW player (included in AVR - and what is used at listeningtohope.com) you can pass a logo attribute and then the url to the logo you wish to display.

so try this:

<mp3remote logo="/images/logo.png">-</mp3remote>

when adding a media fiile.

I haven't tried this, but I believe that is how its done.

SO the "logo" that is in the bible study parameters is not the same? Also, I am a bit unsure where to put <mp3remote logo="/images/logo.png">-</mp3remote>.....

Is that in the media portion of Bible Study or somewhere else?

I will check out the doc as well, thanks

Hey Mark, when you add a new media file (ex: sermon MP3), there is a field where you have to type in the avr code, if you choose to use AVR (unless you chose not to use avr in the config). IT says something like this:

"Enter opening and closing codes for AVReloaded like { mp3remote}-{/mp3remote}.Be SURE to put a dash (-) between the codes. You can insert text before the dash or after if you need to. Like: { mp3remote}-{/mp3remote} inserts that text before your path and filename (the system removes the -)"

That is the section I was referring to...

Im sorry....I feel pretty stupid. I found that section, but do not see the code for the logo in the documentation. Also, I am unsure how to add it to the code for the mp3.

{mp3}sermon{mp3} then what...<mp3remote logo="/images/logo.png">-</mp3remote>

I'm kinda lost
