When opening a sermon i got this one:

This was fixed in 6.0.7c

It appears as if curl is not installed or enabled on your site. Version 6.0.7c checks for this. To turn this off you can just select not to show the passage in the component parameters. It's the web service that goes out and shows the Bible passage that is causing you problems.
