I cant seem to get it to stretch across the page. it seems scrunched on the side. sorry i couldn't search and find it, so brain dead. been fighting menus and css all day, and now getting ready to go watch my son graduate from his AIT in Virginia! He is 15Y - Armament tech for Apache helos. My other son is going with us, he is 11C a mortar man, he is travelling up with us. So links to answered forum, etc. would be awesome. Thanks y'all!

Congratulations on your son's graduation!

While you have the overall table set at 100%, the individual column widths will affect how the page looks. I would suggest changing those to wider numbers. I recommend using pixels rather than percentages - for some reason it looks better.

let me know if this works for you.

Can you tell me where that is? I am setting #'s in the parameters, and not seeing anything. I just put 50 in all the columns, and they are still bunched up. By the way, we made it safely to Virginia! But now our son is too busy to answer/call us with his status so we could possibly see him today!

You're in the right place. Here's what I suggest - make the overall pixel width of the page the sum of your column widths. Also what may be happening is that you are using the internal mp3 player - which does some things to the width. You have a pretty small space to work with - you may want to reduce the width of the player too - that's a parameter as well.

I actually emailed and chatted with Tom today. There seems to be an issue with what table the parameters are being saved to and read from.

They are being saved to the jos_components table and being read from the jos_menus table. I spent 4 hours trying to get them to move, and they never did.

If you feel daring, you can find the biblestudy component in jos_menus and then modify the params field directly in your database using phpMyAdmin.

This sounds related to something I discovered.

Are you editing the parameters from the global Parameters button? Or are you editing the component parameters in the menu item? (Go to your menu item for the link to the studies list. On the right you'll see three parameters boxes. The middle one says Component. You can override the general Global parameters in here.)
