Is there a limitation to the amount of text that will fit in the study text. I have been cutting and pasting and I am losing the last part of the file. I have also found that the pdf that is being created from this file has a strange behavior, the text keeps getting larger and larger until there is only one part of a word on a page. The text file started out around 30 pages typed in word, the pdf around 1100 pages? I dont have any formatting in the document that I am aware of.

First, upgrade to Joomla 1.5.9 and Biblestudy 6.0.11. What is your site url? The type of field that the text is stored in is a "text" field - it apparently has a limit of 65,000 bytes - or characters, not sure which. We haven't had anyone run into this problem before. We'll look into changing the data type for version .12 but for now it's likely that is the cause - perhaps as well for the pdf creation, though I've never heard of that happening before. Let us see your site and that might help.

I finally realized it was a setting in Joomla and was able to increase the size. The pdf problem turned out to be some type of formatting issue. I just ran the files thru notepad to strip all formatting out. I upgraded both Joomla and the Bible Study to the new versions as well just to minimize future issues.

I remember reading somewhere that the readmore fuction did not work. I cannot get the page break function to work either. Do you have any suggestions on what to check?

You're right, Mike - neither the readmore nor page break functions work. I'll add that to the feature request for version 6.0.12
