Hi. I am using Bible Study 6.0.10 on Joomla! 1.0.15 Stable with PHP Version 5.2.6.

Using com_installer I get the these two error messages:

ERROR: Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.

Installation file not found:
K:\webserver\htdocs\joomla\media\install_49435511cfc16\

I am new to Joomla and don't know how to go about sorting this out, can anyone help me please?

Usually you get that error if you uploaded the wrong zip...

if you downloaded this:

joomlacode.org/gf/download/frsrelease/82...iblestudy_6.0.10.zip

all you do in joomla is go to Extensions->install/uninstall, in the "package file" area browse for the zip file you just downloaded, and click "upload file & install"

that should work...unless you may be experiencing other issues.

Hi again. I am using Joomla 1.0.15 and don't have an Extensions tab. I have Installers > Components then Upload Package File. Do I need to upgrade to a newer Joomla version? I haven't done anything else yet so I can do if needed.

Oh, ok...well you need Joomla 1.5 (at least)

Joomla 1.0.x has been discontinued, get Joomla 1.5 instead (BibleStudy was made for this)
