I have a couple more questions.
I searched this site, and I'm still not sure how to get a PDF link of sermon notes up within the sermon listings (as you have on your Bible Study page)..I'm not sure where or how the pdf is put in.

My second question, is how to link the latest sermon(which will of course change every week) to somewhere else on the site, say the homepage. If you can do this, can it list the details of that sermon, ie: speaker, date, description, scripture.

There is a PDF option in the parameters --check that, and also in the menu editor for the biblestudy

I'm not understanding exactly how your are wanting to link the sermon...

You should use the module for this purpose (as I do on the JoomlaOregon site homepage). You do this like with any other Joomla module.

Edit the module and choose a place for it to display (like user9) from the drop down menu towards the top. Then create a content item and in the item put the code {loadposition user9). Also make sure the Joomla plugin Content - Load Module is published.

Then make that content item you started appear on the front page by clicking that box "Show on Front page". Then your studies will show up on the front page following the parameters you set in the mode.

Remember that you can also copy a module so you can effectively have modules of Bible Study doing different things in different places on your site.
