Hello All.

I'm runing Joomla 1.5.15, Bible Study Component 6.1.5, and Bible Study Module 6.1.1.

I am attempting to make the series thumbnail show up in the module in row 1 column 1. This is an option in the module settings however it does not seem to work. It does however work in the component. I have left the biblestudy.css in it's default condition as to make sure this is not the problem.

I noticed in the drop down option box Choose an item to display in module settings has the option for "Series Thumbnail {series_thumbanil}" Thumbnail is spelled wrong. So I chose "Custom" to test it and added {series_thumbnail} for the custom cell to make sure this was not just a spelling issue. This did not work either.

Any input on the problem is greatly appreciated.

UPDATE: I have started using the {thumbnail} option which does work just to get things going. I have custom CSS now as well, but it is not effecting the series thumbnail in any way. This is only temporary, I am still looking for a solution to the problem.

I've put this in as a bug report. Thanks for reporting. It may be a few weeks before I get to this so be patient. Glad you found a work around.

One other thing, and this may be more suitable for a different thread. While trying to style the titile of the studies in my series list, I noticed that it uses the ".title" class which is also being inherited from my main website template CSS and is overriding my Bible study CSS. So basically when I make the titles white, it also changes the colors of all my website titles.

My question would be, and this is assuming this would be the best method, can you point me to the file which is telling bible study to use the ".title" class for it's titles so I can change it to a different class name in order to make it seperate. Thanks again.

Hey Brian - it should be in the site side: /components/com_biblestudy/views/seriesdetail/tmpl/default.php. If it is in the list, then the view is serieslist.

I'll make note of that - we should probably not use that global css reference. This was left over from our pre-css days with the component.

That's what you would want to change I think.
