I am working on a site and can't seem to get the column width to display wider than 75 pixels. There's no apparent place to adjust. I tried messing with parameters and that didn't seem to matter.

Hi Dawn.

This is actually a common problem and is a function of the way Joomla handles parameters. Open and save the parameters in com_biblestudy on the backend under one of the Bible Study tabs, then go to the menu item you created for the studies listing - when you edit that you will see a drop down arrow for Component Parameters. Make your adjustments there and you should see the results on your site - let me know if you don't.

Also - you might want to consider using 6.0.08_RC6. I think its ready for production and handles layouts much better. You can get it from the download links on the this site to the left.

I got the following error when in stalling version 8 and trying to used media files:

Fatal error: biblestudyViewmediafilesedit::require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'D:\inetpub\questionsaboutchristianity.com\administrator\components\com_avreloaded\elements\insertbutton.php' (include_path='.;C:\PHP\pear') in D:\inetpub\questionsaboutchristianity.com\administrator\components\com_biblestudy\views\mediafilesedit\view.html.php on line 15

A friend of mine is also trying to get the same version up and running and also getting an error.

Hi again, Dawn - you need to have All Videos Reloaded 1.2.4 installed. Thanks for catching that bug - I put in a statement to test before displaying the button. Unzip the attachment then install:

Install these files: /administrator/components/com_biblestudy/views/mediafilesedit/view.html.php

And /administrator/components/com_biblestudy/views/mediafilesedit/tmpl/form.php

Let me know if this works. AVReloaded will play wmv and all types of media files. Version 8 uses a pop up window you can either choose each study whether to stream it or your site as a whole.

BTW - didn't see any errors in the page you referenced.
