I upload sermons from our leader who sends them in Microsoft Word format.

But when I cut and paste using the appropriate icon in JCE the result when clicking the PDF Icon comes out like this.

When the same proceedure is used to produce an ordinary article it displays fine, with the references at the end of the aritcle as with the module.

What am I doing wrong?

What are you trying to achieve? I'm not sure what you mean "with the references at the end of the article as with the module"

The pdf view is really a stand alone with it's own programming. it won't necessarily mirror the studydetails view completely.

I will clarify

I receive a Microsoft Word document that has references in it that appear at the bottom of the page.

When I copy the entire text in Word, to create an Article, and use the icon in JCE to 'paste from word' the entire document is pasted into the editor. The references then all appear at the end of the document, this is not a problem. As an Article the formatting is fine, see here

But under your module editing the same document and in the same way JCE, icon 'paste from Word' and clicking the PDF icon it looks like this. The formatting is all wrong.

Am I doing anything wrong?

Graeme,

In Biblestudy we simply call the Joomla editor. The text is saved in raw format, then redisplayed by an echo command. To be honest, I'm not sure we have control over this.

I tried to review the articles you referenced, but they have been removed from your site.

It seemed to be related to the combination of font, style, paragraph style etc.

As a result I fully recommend your plugin and will be experimenting with audio sermons next.

Thanks for your great work

By the way - in version 6.1 of Bible Study, you will be able to have a Joomla article as a "media" file. in the new mediafiles creation screen you will be able to choose an article to show up as one of the media links on the studies listing page. We will also have the ability to choose a DocMan file or an item from a VirtueMart store.

I looked into having an article display in place of the studynotes field, but it is too complicated the way Joomla renders its articles for us to replicate.

Blessings,
