I'm not sure if it's possible or not, but can I put a sermon outline in the "text" area, and be able to download a copy of the full text through a link?

Not sure exactly what you are wanting to do. If you want users to download a text file then its best to upload it in its original format and create a link to it like a mediafile. Some users have created Word documents that way. You'd have to create a new media image to support that.

You can also use the pdf link which creates a pdf file of your text that users can save on their local machine.
