TOPIC: biblestudy images and text colour

biblestudy images and text colour 26 Mar 2010 00:07 #2017

I am trying to make some final changes to the look of our site. I have two questions:
1. Is it possible to change formatting on the text of the study details?

2. Can I add a logo to the top of the stduieslist page? I have some text in the intorduction and I'd like to have a banner style logo there. is it hard to do?
see attached screenshot.

Yes to both questions!

The css id for the study details is: studydetailstext. You would edit that tag in the Edit CSS tag of JBS in the admin side.

As for the image - go to the Administration tab of JBS and change the Default Study List Image (you may have to change the folder to something else after you upload your banner image).

Blessings!

Wonderful!
Almost there...
Does the image classify as a text title because my website is adding some css that I thought was for the page title (see the green button to the left of the image: ccihk.com/media/online-audio

Then regarding the text format. I meant can you do a formatted text with higlighting, bold, different colours etc in the study details? I haven't seen that kind of formatting in your example site so I doubt if it can be done. (Possibly with a macro tool like RokCandy from Rockettheme?)

Thanks for your help so far!

It's componentheading so you may need to create a special css class for the bsheader componentheader class.

As for formatting - you can do anything in the studydetails that you normally do in the Joomla articles - it merely calls up the editor of your choice and saves it in raw format.

Hope this helps!

You can use FireBug in FireFox to see the id and class elements and get an idea of what's happening. You can even edit the css on the fly before putting it into the components' css file.
