TOPIC: Control of Format

Control of Format 09 Feb 2010 03:13 #1789

Hi folks,
I recently upgraded the Bible Study module on our website (solihullpres.org.uk). However, I am not very familiar with CSS and so I am having difficulty making the studies list look the way I want. It would be useful if there were some kind of user guide for the CSS file.

Specifically, the problems I am having are for Bible Studies list are
1) control of the column widths. Currently the sermon title has to be squeezed into a narrow column.
2) control of text colour with and without hovering the mouse
3) the horrible border around the download icon. I don't know where I can fix that.

In addition, the details page is a mess, but I will come back to that later!

You might check your template.css file (from the template you are using for your website). Check a hover and visited. This behavior doesn't occur on all sites so that's why I'm thinking it is your template.

Try installing FireBug and use with the FireFox browser. You can see css elements and even make temporary changes to see the effect.
