Well, we're waiting for a crosswalk of functions between 1.5 and 1.6 so we can see what needs to be changed. One of our developers has successfully installed our beta1 of version 6.2 but it won't run apparently.
Right now our efforts are focused on working out the bugs in 6.2, releasing a second beta, then turning our attention to a 1.6 version for Joomla.
Hopefully, if the differences aren't too bad, we'll have a 1.6 compatible version out soon after the official release of 1.6.
