Would it be better if certain views like: "Topics", "Message Type", "Mime types" (maybe) be removed from the admin menu? Because these are really one field entries.

I was thinking, perhaps, to just embed them in the studies. Kind of how the module positions work when modifying a module. Have a drop down that shows all the "topics" that are used in other studies, or they can type in a new topic.

What do you think?

We should have the drop down include all the stock topics too - but not one that is addressable from a view like now.

I'm all for reducing, recycling, reusing - when it comes to code.

So, in 6.2, the topics filter brings back only those topics which have been used. Personally, it always bugs me when I go to a site, click on something, and there is nothing there. With the way topics have been refactored in 6.2, it makes it really easy to omit stuff that isn't there on the display side.

I'll go through 6.2 and identify what views actually are being used. It's not many...
