Would it possible to get a check for update or update to latest version button with the module?

That feature is included in version 6.1 if your web server allows certain functions. We use the Snoopy class functions to fetch the current version from www.JoomlaBiblestudy.org.

This shows at the bottom of the Administration tab of com_biblestudy at the bottom.

It will look something like this:

Version Your Version: 6.1.0 - Current Version: 6.1.0
Get Latest Version
