I'm not sure if this is a bug or user error. I had installed 6.1.

I upgraded to 6.1.4 by installing over the top of the existing installation using Joomla's upload and install feature.

Now, I don't see any list of sermons on the frontend. Also, what does appear--the drop downs for filtering and the headers I added to the page-- do not apply any of my joomla template features. Just plain black and white text.

I see the previously input information on the backend and can edit everything there, but it won't show up on the front end.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try editing the menu item you created to the studieslist and choose a template from the drop down. What version are you coming from?

I have gotten the joomla template formatting to be applied by disabling my original menu item in joomla and creating another menu item. I still don't have any items in the list view. I think it was 6.1.1 that I have upgraded from.

I think something may be erroring out. If you want to contact me by private link you can give me an admin login to your site. I'll install a small program called JDump that will help troubleshoot.

this may just be muddying the waters on my original post...

For some reason, I lost the joomla formatting again. --- Anyway, I changed the menu type to teacher list view. It gave me only two teachers in the list (the template is set to 5). When I clicked on the teacher name, it pulled up a list of sermons for the teacher. When I clicked the sermon title, I received this message:

I don't know if that helps any or just adds a new twist.
