Hi,

I get a parse error: Unexpected ")" controllers/mediafilesedit.php on line 182 when using frontend "Add a New Media File Record."

I edited the file to remove the extra ")", then got a new error:

Fatal error: Class 'JPane' not found in ... /components/com_biblestudy/views/mediafilesedit/tmpl/form.php on line 38.

I wasn't sure how to correct this second error.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

I corrected it in the attached file - rename to .php. I didn't get the JPane error you did. Put up this file and see if it fixes the problem for you.

File Attachment:

File Name: mediafilesedit-20091021.txt
File Size: 8814

I added the file and that solved the original syntax error, but still leaves this:

There's a red "X" icon, then

Media File Details

Save Cancel Upload <---these are all active links)

Parameters
Fatal error: Class 'JPane' not found in /path/to/my/root/components/com_biblestudy/views/mediafilesedit/tmpl/form.php on line 38

I'm really not sure why that error shows up. There is something about the JPane class that errors out sometimes. Try going to the admin side and adding a new mediafile record to see if you get the same error. Basically it loads the paramters - the only one is whether the file should be a direct link to the file, played using the internal mp3 player, or using All Videos Reloaded.

Do the Cancel and Save buttons work for you on the front end? They used to work but now I am getting a 500 error view not found error.

Cancel and Save don't do anything on the front end. Upload brings up the page: option=com_media&tmpl=component&task=popupUpload&directory=

but I can't seem to upload anything from there.
