I was reading jessejohannas post about using BibleStudy without Joomla, and while I (and the people who enter the details to the CMS) find BibleStudy great to use - both entering and displaying the data - is there a way of doing SQL/PHP queries on the table as at the moment when you click on an audio link it displays just the controls when it could also use other information (such as the preacher to display an image) contained in the table?
I have a test site that uses the audio sermons and JWplayer - Central Hall Sermons - but it's no where near as good as BibleStudy, so am trying to add my part to BibleStudy. Is that possible?

Hey Phil,

Technically you should be able to do what you propose with Bible Study as it is now - I think both 6.2.4 and 7.0.x.

When making a media file entry, there is a box for Popup Title Elements and Popup Footer elements. In those boxes you can use any of the tags we have made available. You can hover over the title of the field to see some examples - but they include {{title}} {{teacher}}, etc.

You can look here for a list of the codes:

Play around with it and if you would like to make suggestions for how to improve this, let us know.

Tom

Thank you for the quick reply, I will play around with the Popups elements and work on getting our current installation to work a little better on mobile devices as it just comes up with a blank rectangle on Android/iOS devices.
