Sermon Speaker Migration Component

Sermon Speaker is a great component used by many churches. It has many features and is used by God to spread the gospel. Some churches have expressed interest in using Joomla® Bible Study and want to convert from Sermon Speaker. We offer this conversion tool for that purpose.

You must have Sermon Speaker 3.4.2 or higher installed and Joomla Bible Study 6.2.0 or higher installed. You may use of the 6.2 RC3 version.

The tool installs like any other Joomla! component. You are presented with a link to perform the conversion after versions of the components are checked. This component will convert existing Sermon Speaker tables series, speakers, and sermons into Joomla Bible Study series, teachers, and studies, and mediafiles. Links from studies to series and teachers are maintained and we attempt to parse the Scripture reference but you must spell the book names correctly in English, ie: 1 Corinthians, Genesis, etc.

This is beta software, even if were not, you should backup the Sermon Speaker and Joomla(r) Bible Study tables prior to using as it is non-reversible.
