Overview

Bible Study is a Joomla!® 1.5 and 2.5 component written by a team of webservants to further the teaching of God's Word. The component displays information about your church's Bible Studies or sermons in a wide variety of ways. JBS is flexible, customizable, and powerful. Easy to configure templates give you the maximum amount of choices. Show only what you want in whatever way you want.
Embed YouTube videos, play audio, show study notes - even create your own html display pages. You can have multiple locations, series, podcasting, and sharing with social media sites. Please see the example pages for just some of what Bible Study can do for your church - and the best part is the component is completely free. Support is top notch, and also free. Bottom line: we want to help you spread the gospel.

Servers and Server Folders
The Servers Tab and the Server Folders Tab allow administrators to compile a list of url's where media files will be stored. The pre-inclusion of servers and folders allows those entering media files to choose the hosting address from a drop down list without having to configure a complete url address, reducing the potential for typing errors.
Use of Servers and Folders is optional - but strongly recommended for error reduction.
THE SERVERS TAB
Click on the Servers Tab.
On this screen, you may click on the desired icon - delete, edit or new.
Click on the green checkmark to either publish or unpublish a study.
Note: When a server is unpublished, all the information is still stored in the database, but the name of that server will not appear in the drop-down lists of server options.
Server Name: Enter any wording that will describe this server location. Server Path: Enter the url where the media files will be uploaded. Drop the http:// from the front of the address and end the address after the extension (.com, .org, etc.) Example: If media files will be uploaded to http://www.JoomlaBibleStudy.org/media/2010 enter into the Server Path the following: www.JoomlaBibleStudy.org Make sure the Server Path does not end in a "/" (trailing folders will need to be entered at the Server Folders Tab)
